Every Saturday morning from October 2023, at 1903 Square at the top of Trafalgar Street, Nelson, and various other locations, people rallied in support of the people of Gaza and against the bombing, blockade, and killing of Palestinian children, women and men by Israeli military forces. Now each week there are rallies, letter writing events addressing the PM and Foreign Affairs Minister, or other events calling for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian assistance for the people in Gaza. We meet every Sunday at 10am at the Quaker Meeting House 30 Nile Street, Nelson.
Motueka Friends meet every second Sunday of the month at 10am, at the Family Service Centre, Talbot St. Motueka.
